I made this for my grandparents when I was nine. They live in Florida, so I thought it would be nice to make a beach. I used chalk pastels because they're colorful, easy to work with (as long as you don't mind getting your hands messy) and you can create lots of different textures with them. I'm now eleven and I still use chalk pastels, although I've lately been getting into painting.
