Fantasy stories draw from traditional mythology and fairy tales and often explore themes important to the real world in an otherworldly setting. While fantasy tales may transport us to different worlds, they inform our own world as well. They also can be simply a wonderful way to pass the time, to find a creative outlet through things that don’t exist in this mundane world.
