Every human being lives, but how much humanity is there? Birth, education, job, marriage, boys, family, and finally death! Is this how the cycle of life is supposed to work? What is the ultimate goal of such a life? Why do we have to take birth? What do we need? We have got a human body... it has to perform the duties of a human being. There should be humanity in life. But what is humanity? Gnani Purush Param Pujya Dadashri defines humanity and says that you do not like it when someone gives you pain and trouble, therefore, you should not hurt anyone. According to him, that is the greatest humanity. Whoever understands this and puts it into practice knows what humanity is. One can move in any of the four motions after attaining humanity. One is the Human Gati and the other three are the Beast Gati, the God Gati and the Hell Gati. There will be fruits as there are causes. If we show humanity, we will get a human body in the next birth. If we become inhuman then the next birth will be in the body of an animal, if we become very bad and inhuman then the next birth will be in hell pace. If we spend our life helping others for the good and without any expectation then we will get God Gati. Param Pujya Dadashri has discussed humanity in this book with the noble intention that if people understand humanity then human existence will be meaningful.
